CAPE LEEUWIN

We embarked on a fantastic journey down south to tour vineyards, caves & capes all in one road trip. The coastline was stunning and everything was breathtaking under the earth in the caves, up in the sky in the Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse looking forever into the ocean, and stopping to get our head out of the clouds for relaxation at the unreal beaches of the Margaret River region in Western Australia.

I could not help to bring along a stunning skirt I had custom made from Fame & Partners which is a part of the Lace Debutante two-piece on the Fame & Partners site. I do not know why I always navigate to black, and why my entire wardrobe is 80% black in color -- I just love wearing black and I love the classic elegance of the color, the simplicity of the color. I had to pair with this gorgeous pink piece -- I completely have a princess moment every time I wear it.

With the stunning backdrops of the Margaret River region and the stunning elegance of the Fame & Partners Lace Debutante skirt I did not hesitate to pursue to improv a quick shoot. I went from ponytail - climbing caves all day and no make up to quickly switching settings (from work out mode, to dress mode) to throw on my skirt for a completely magical moment. That's my life though - always switching gears to capture magical moments. And this one is one I won't forget.

Thank you to the Margaret River region for such a magical time!

A road trip to Western Australia's south region, below Margaret River, in the Leeuwin Natraliste National Park was breathtaking and full of adventure - which was exactly what we were seeking out.

We toured most of the caves from the Margaret River region down throughout the Leeuwin Natraliste National Park - down to Augusta. A lovely & small coastal town that houses the famous Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse. A lighthouse that people come from all corners of the world to see, especially since the Southern Ocean and the Indian Ocean meet at this point. The Lighthouse is located at the most southern point of Western Australia - the closest you'll get to Antarctica in Western Australia (another 6,000+ km south).

During our private tour the lighthouse tour guide pointed out what points of the world we were directly facing on each side of the lighthouse. Facing the ocean on the right side of the lighthouse, she pointed out just how far we were from North America, which instantly made me homesick for Texas.

The lighthouse views were absolutely stunning, and the neighborin beaches were breathtaking. On our drive back north we decided to take our time to take it all in. I could not help but to bring along my new two-piece I recently had custom made by Fame & Partners. The dress brought so much life and color to the surroundings. This dress would be the perfect prom dress in the USA if you are still seeking out the perfect dress for the big night, browse their dresses online for various occasions.

I also added Samantha Wills accessories to the dress to accessorize this look that complimented my own style. I love Samantha Wills luxe bohemian vibe and the Awake In The Dark Ring is my favorite right now. It's stunning and unique….and psssttt….it's on sale right now. You can shop the look below under 'Shop Ze Look' by clicking on the ring. I also pulled up other rings that are similar.

We had a couple of cave tour-goers pass us during shooting that said "That is the brightest, most cheerful color we have seen all day!" And I DID hear a few "G'days!" today, which I was grateful to finally hear! (You rarely hear it as I explained in my last Australian post: Texan Converted Australian)

Enjoy browsing the looks, and enjoy visiting Cape Leeuwin without the jet lag!
I hope that you enjoyed this post, as much as I enjoyed visiting Cape Leeuwin.

DHANGETHI ISLAND MALDIVES

Photo Credits Haili Pue All Ze Details

During our holiday in the Maldives, at Rangali Island we were taken to Dhangethi Island as a part of one of the stops. This was one of our first stops along the way to a deserted island, where we had booked a lunch this day of our Maldives. We had the opportunity to see how the locals live in the Maldives on this island and our tour guide was a local from this island as well and was able to show us around to the shops owned by the locals - and to show us how every day life was on this island. This was a part of the Conrad Maldives Rangali Island tour as we made our way to the deserted island a few more miles away from Dhangethi.

It was so vastly different than the island we stayed on only a few miles away. It was an eye opening experience to see the parallels of the resort and local life.

If you are planning to book with Conrad Maldives for any upcoming vacations you can book various packages to explore around the island including a Whale Shark dive with a research team, and this lunch tour included various stops along with lunch on a deserted island as the last stop of the tour.

PERTH UPMARKET

Photo credit All Ze Details © 2015

Perth is surrounded by talent in design, homemade goods, and fashion. Perth Upmarket is upon us opening this weekend, Sunday March 1 at 10AM- with more than 150 retailers coming out to share their talents & goods in Winthrop Hall and Hacket Hall at University of Western Australia.

The Perth Upmarket will include various products spanning from kids apparel, women's fashion, home goods, home decor, and food products. For a complete list of vendors visit the Perth Upmarket website.

I hand selected a few pieces that will be available at the Upmarket from designers AVA//Petra Vanessie and Amanda Kaye Handbags.

Amanda Kaye has unique bags that caught my eye, the Grand Casablanca Clutch in Seafoam Blue is my favorite from her collection right now. It has a unique shape to provide something different and special for a summer or evening clutch.

Petra Vanessie had a beautiful gown that reminded me of Audrey Hepburn, my favorite actress. It had a Roman Holiday feel to it, and I could not pass it up. This dress was also featured as part of Petra Vanessie's collection in Hong Kong  Fashion Week last year. It is from the Marlee 2014 collection on the Petra Vanessie site.

Both Petra Vanessie and Amanda Kaye Handbags are Australian based designers, and are both Australian made that you can't find anywhere else; which is why the Perth Upmarkets are so special - so many unique items and finds from talented artists based right here in the WA.

Visit the Perth Upmarket website for more information on the direct location of the event.

Parking and entry are free for this event.

Special thanks to

Read the guide below, provided by Perth Upmarket to help plan your day on Sunday. The guide provides special offers, and a guide map of with all of the vendors participating on Sunday.
