Maroon is the color of the fall season, even though I may just sound like a biased Texas A&M alumn. Maroon is a deeper hue that plays well with the color palette of fall.
BHLDN had just the perfect dress for the season that is equally romantic and elegant, as it is comfortable. This dress is the perfect ensemble to utilize as a wedding guest, or for a dinner abroad during a jet set; easy to pack as the fabric is light weight, proving my point of casual elegance - easy to pop out of the suitcase to wear during travel.
I could not help but think of the field scene from Pride and Prejudice when Elizabeth Bennet walks across an early morning dewy field into Mr. Darcy's arms when I spotted this dress. I immediately pinpointed this dress as something Elizabeth, or any of the girls in the Bennet family would wear. As obsessed as I am with Jane Austen's works, especially Pride and Prejudice I flocked to this dress.
