Summer Takes A Bow

Everyone goes back to school, the holidays are right around the corner - and this is the time of year that the end of summer sales take charge and it is inevitably the best time to grab hold of good quality essentials to incorporate into your wardrobe - whether you're in Houston Texas where the summer has a good chance of being carried out into the holidays, or your in London where summer is almost non-exsistent - these summer essentials can be easily transitioned from summer time to the holidays. 

Accessories, apparel, and jet setting essentials that are a must on my list make their way into this feature. I had to seek out essentials that would be good topped off with a jacket and leggings to keep warm, and had to seek out accessories that travel well - in the perfect travel case. These are the perfect essentials to grab on to, when summer takes a bow. 

I love a good dress with eyelet material, it's easily breathable in the summer and the perfect fabric to layer in the fall months. This dress from Ann Taylor, is the perfect example. During the summer it's light weight slip underneath is perfectly breathable in the heat and perfect for the beach, or resort wear. This specific material is perfect to layer for fall and winter as well. I can easily top this dress off with a denim jacket or a longer trench over wool leggings and boots, or in my case - heels. 

The accessories I love to swap out, that I always carry when I travel are a few solid, and colorful rings, studs and turquoise pieces. As a Texas girl - turquoise pieces are always a must to layer in and accessorize with. 

I always travel with this case - it is champagne in color and is made out of leather - so it travels well and does not scratch against anything else in my carry on. In some photos you may see my passport holder pop out of my jewelry organizer - I just landed on flight before shooting this feature. My passport is still in tip-top shape, thanks to this passport holder.
