Before Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia rolled around I met with several Australian designers and labels to prepare outfits for fashion week and came up with concepts to mix and match apparel from local talents to represent Perth, WA at fashion week. I selected styles that were best for petite stature. I also had to focus on what would be comfortable for a 7AM-8PM day of shows. I certainly did not purchase the correct shoes to wear for fashion week and I came out with battle wounds - blisters, cuts and bruises to show for days of standing and walking to site for work. One woman had to point out to me that the back of my foot was bleeding (the first day of fashion week) I hadn't even noticed because my feet were already numb from grabbing trains, and taxis and running about the city. All in all it was a wonderful week - new friends were made, inspirational shows were had, and a relaxing week was very much needed after a successful several days of fashion week -- hence why I am just now getting to my posts on All Ze Details - these posts could very well qualify for throwback thursday. All joking aside, here is the info on what I wore on day 2 of fashion week. Day 2 was amazing and started off with an interview with designer Phoenix Keating in which the interview will be published soon in my fashion column, and will be posted on All Ze Details.
I really enjoyed wearing the talented designs of local Perth designers and Australian accessories. All Ze Details on the outfit are posted below. Links available to readily shop the look and to discover the websites and talents of the Aussie designers.
