My love for anything Audrey Hepburn is indefinite. So with a pink skirt as the main focus of the feature, it was only natural to open with the Think Pink lyrics from Funny Face. I was in love with this Audrey Hepburn shirt the moment I saw it. "Paris is always a good idea!" was a quote from the movie Sabrina in 1954 when Audrey starred alongside Humphrey Bogart and William Holden.

This skirt is absolutely dreamy; I paired it with a tee to make the skirt a little more effortless and approachable and with an embellished belt to complete the flow and transition of the contrasting materials of fabric. I loved pairing this with an embellished clutch.

Women always ask me "Where would I wear this?" when I add a skirt like this into their wardrobe (if I'm ever helping someone compose an outfit). The answer always is - you can wear whatever you want, at anytime you want. I wanted to wear this skirt with a t-shirt on a simple day out with a friend for lunch, and I did. This is what I wore to lunch, and I loved it. It's really quite simple - you can achieve wearing a skirt like this on the weekends, as a wedding guest, and simply because you WANT to wear it. It really is that simple. I wanted to wear this, so I wore it - and I loved it.
